The GI JOE COLLECTOR'S CLUB will NOT be carrying the SDCC exclusives this year.

So I get this email that says the following:

We have been getting a lot of questions about the Hasbro exclusives for this year's Comic-Con and we want to let you know that we will not be able to get any of the exclusives this year.

If you are interested in these items, you will either need to attend Comic-Con or check Hasbro Toy Shop to see if there are any left after the show.

Now if anyone in here was a complete dumbass like me... I signed up just so I could get some Zarana's from this site because that's how I scored my Sgt. Slaughter's. Once I saw what SDCC was carrying, I immediately joined up to score some goodies.

I just saw that. They coulda at least spent 10 seconds to write San Diego Comic Con!! They also forgot to say you can resort to Ebay. Someone over at GIJOECC needs a nap.

Ebay will be why real fans can't get them without paying through the nose.
Honestly HTS is always a shot in the dark. I have never fully recovered from not getting the blue suit cc.

I got like 4 Black suits and could never score the Blue one. But I coulda had my chance at a few cons where they were 50.00 but I figured I could make my money useful somewhere else.

I did end up scoring both a loos and moc clear Wraith at the last con and for a decent price.

I doubt we will be seeing Zarana sold like that for a while if ever.

Dammit have some faith Money-B! It has got to be better than Slaughtergate!

I partially signed up for that shot at Zarana and the Starstriker too. Oh well, still trying to save up for the sub and hopefully that will make it worth it. Groupon has a $30 deal for $15 right now:

I'm on the fence about buying it though because I'm not sure how difficult it will be to get at least Zarana the Monday after SDCC's over. I got that Step 5 error for the CCs but I managed to get a blue and black suit then, but I never saw Slaughter in stock at all.

Well lets say if I do not get anything from SDCC this year, I may commence screaming until my head blows off my shoulders. All I want is 2 Pink Zaranas. Is that too much to ask for? I pre-ordered a SDCC Starscream but I expect to get my money back and the shaft on that. It is crap like Hasbro and their limited amounts of good stuff they won't produce enough of that will drive me to stop collecting plastic crack.

Yeah, Starstriker/Skyscream is a pipe dream at this point. I'll be happy with one pink Zarana as well.

I guess if all else fails, I will buy a ME Skystriker and hopefully someone will come along with some repro-label Starscream stickers and I can make my own. And since he is already WHITE, this shouldn't be a hard transition.

I had an appointment this morning but I emailed my sister with all the info she needed to give it a shot. She had a pink and CS in the cart but by the time she got through to step 3, CS had sold out. I'm happy to have ended up with the one.

I'm not happy. HTS blows big time!!

I got Slaughter from GIJCC last year and it was so simple and painless.
HTS was again the nightmare that we all know it to be.
I missed the CS version and Starscream because of their bullshit server.

I may just try to figure out a way to get my ass to SDCC next year.
I've been to San Diego. It's a fun town and comic con would be a blast.

Damn, sorry to hear that $. I hope everyone was at least able to get something. I've been trying to get a second to open for about the last hour but the pink one's sold out now.

SD is a nice town. Well, the one part of it I saw last year. I think the most cost effective thing to do would be to just do pre-orders from reliable sellers. That was certainly the case with the Joecon stuff. The prices for figs were ridiculously cheap for pre-orders or even sales that were going on while the con was still happening compared to what they are now.

Reliable being the operative word regarding a seller.


One pink Zarana because of server overload hardly makes HTS reliable, but they did have the best price.

Not sure that it would even be possible financially to attend both Joe Con and SDCC in the same year.

I got screwed out of everything on HTS. So I had to resort to BBTS and get me a pink zarana. At least I have something!

I'll keep an eye out at my local comic shop. they had the Slaughters last year they may get the Zaranas. if so I'll let you guys know.

Is that Silver Snail? I found out about DTC Joes there, they only had them for $5 a pop when they first came out.

YES! She shoulda just came out with the 30th! They coulda put her on an updated card! I DON'T CARE! The Cold Slither coulda stayed an SDCC exclusive but the pink version should have been released worldwide! They are putting out Airtight with the Renegades.. why not Zarana? It would been just fine with me!

Gotta agree with that too. With news of them cancelling anything past a person's first order, hopefully everyone who missed out can get another shot. I'd love to get a CS Z.
