In NJ, did you know:

-Drivers must warn those who they pass on highways before they do so.

-It is illegal to wear a bullet-proof vest while committing a murder.
--It is unlawful to use a body vest while committing a crime (murder, manslaughter, robbery, sexual assault, burglary, kidnapping, criminal escape or assault).

2C:39-13. Unlawful use of body vests

1.Unlawful use of body vests. A person is guilty of a crime if he uses or wears a body vest while engaged in the commission of, or an attempt to commit, or flight after committing or attempting to commit murder, manslaughter, robbery, sexual assault, burglary, kidnapping, criminal escape or assault under N.J.S.2C:12-1b. Use or wearing a body vest while engaged in the commission of, or an attempt to commit, or flight after committing or attempting to commit a crime of the first degree is a crime of the second degree. Otherwise it is a crime of the third degree.

As used in this section, “body vest” means bullet-resistant body armor which is intended to provide ballistic and trauma protection.

-Only in Trenton (my city): You may not throw a bad pickle in the street.

-Only in Trenton (my city): Pickles are not to be consumed on Sundays.

In the state of Pennsylvania...
-Any motorist who sights a team of horses coming toward him must pull well off the road, cover his car with a blanket or canvas that blends with the countryside, and let the horses pass.
-In Allentown: There is a ban on men becoming aroused in public.

In the state of Michigan:
-It is illegal to kill a dog using a decompression chamber.
-Any person over the age of 12 may have a license for a handgun as long as he/she has not been convicted of a felony.
-In Detroit: It is illegal for a man to scowl at his wife on Sunday.

In the United Kingdom:
-A bed may not be hung out of a window.
-No cows may be driven down the roadway between 10 AM and 7 PM unless there is prior approval from the Commissioner of Police.

-The entire Encyclopedia Britannica is banned in Texas because it contains a formula for making beer at home.

In Tennessee:
-Illegal for a woman to drive a car unless there is a man either running or walking in front of it waving a red flag to warn approaching motorists and pedestrians.

LOL..Yup, stupid laws suck. Except for the one in CA that says that all women must have their bathing suits inspected. I want that job.

Nova Scotia
~In Nova Scotia, its illeagl to water ones lawn while its raining.

New Brunswick
~You cannot buy cigarettes for minors (under19) but you can supply them as long as you do not give them in a public place.

Ontario
~In Ottawa, its illegal to eat icecream on Bank St. on a Sunday.
~In Toronto, you can't drag a dead horse down Yonge on a Sunday.
~ In Etobicoke bylaws states that no more than 3.5 inches of water is allowed in a bathtub.
~In Kanata the color of house and garage doors is regulated by city bylaws (a purple door get you a fine). It is also illegal to have a clothes line in your backyard.
~In London it is against city by-law to allow the grass in your front lawn to grow taller than 1-1/2 inches. If it does, the city will mow it for you, and fine you $200
~In Uxbridge residents are not allowed to have an Internet connection faster than 56k

British Columbia
~The best place in Canada to be imprisoned - if you're a bankrupt drunk - is B.C. A law there requires jailers to bring convicted debtors a pint of beer on demand
~Balloon animals are not permitted in public in Victoria BC.

Alberta
~If you are released from prison, it is required that they give you a handgun with bullets and a horse, so you can ride out of town.
~Businesses must provide rails for tying up horses.
~Wooden logs may not be painted.
