Honestly, if I hear Killowog called someone a Poozer in this movie I can die a happy man.

I would be okay with a Guy Gardner appearance at the end of the movie too. I know a lot of folks don't like Guy but I do.

Love Guy Gardner. I know there was talks of a certain you-know-who appearing in a cameo ( :supes: ), but I really hope he doesn't. Let's focus on GL and his characters, at least first.

There are a lot of great GL characters, so if this hits big, the sequel possibilities are endless.

Yep. There are some awseome characters in the GL world. Just think with all the CGI these days we should get to see Gnort and Chip and a few others!

Could happen. The first looks of this movie are gonna make it or break it with the nerds. If it looks chessy, look out. But I am crossing my fingers.

hmmm, it will def be CGI overkill...not sure how else you could replicate most of the GL universe...like Kilowog

Not a fan of the 3D format, so here's hoping it gets a standard relesase, too. But some of the visuals should be cool in 3D.

ok.. the 3D thing is way too over played now....
its just a way for theaters to make an extra 3-4 bucks per movie

Yeah what he said. I've been a GL fan since I was a kid. I REALLY hope they don't screw this up. I'm hopeful that the 3D thing is a step in the right direction, but we'll see.

I'm very excited for this movie. I'm however very nervous about who shall be writing and directing this movie.

Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett in SW) will be playing Abun Sir. Interesting.

That IS interesting. It sounds like a good thing though. I liked him in the original trilogy.

not a fan of 3D either...but anything they create out of their rings might be pretty sweet in 3D...

A good point, eddie. I will probably still see it in 3D but just grumble all the way.

I plan on seeing this in either 3D or (if possible) IMAX. This should be SO COOL in either format. I mean even UP by Disney/Pixar looked good in 3D when I took my daughter to see it.

Add Angela Basset to the cast. She'll be playing Amanda Waller.

So, without reading all 3 pages(I will in a second).. what are you guys hoping for, more of a leather clad Xmen look, GI Joe RoC/Batman body armor look or Spiderman/Superman "tights" look?

A good question. A happy medium would be nice. I really don't know what to expect, but I know it'll be CGI heavy.

Okay, read up... Kilowog huh??? That could be interesting...I'm guessing Michael Clark Duncan, lol.. he always plays all the HUGE characters!!!

I think Killowog is gonna mostly, if not all, CGI. Might be a good thing.

I would love to see them use the same CGI techniques as in Avatar for the alien characters. Use real human actors and copy their facial expressions and so forth onto the coumputerized characters.

Costum wise, a medium between the tights and leather. Look how well they updated Spiderman's costume for the movies, I hope they do a similar thing for GL.
