Exactly. Often when a really bad team beats a really good team it's cause the really good team played really bad. Not necessarily that the really bad team played really good. Sometimes it can just be that a really good player did sometihing really bad or a really bad player just got really lucky. And sometimes the football gods shine down on even the Cleveland Browns.

I ain't making a prediction but I am gonna sit here and eat chips, drink soda, help with diaper changes, and root my ass off for Dallas. I need to dress Tyler up in his Dallas uniform so maybe... JUST MAYBE... the football Gods will let the Cowboys have one for the little man!!

My opponent in the league here had Romo. I had Hakeem Nicks and Ahmad BRadshaw and Jason Witten. Guess who scored over 50 fantasy pts last night?

I was holding my kid last night while mom was sleeping when Romo got hit. Ya just can't jump up and scream at #44 for missing a blown blocking assignment when your are holding a 5 day old kid. Then when I find out Romo is down for 6-8 weeks and we get JON KITNA for the rest of that time... all I could do was shake my head in dismay, cuss #44, and really wow on how more dismal the season gets for the Cowboys. I guess it could be worse but I am not sure how. I think I saw Jerry start crying last night in the booth which kinda put a smile on my face!

And my head has not exploded but there is fluid leaking from both ears.

Bats if you were a fan of any other team but the Cowboys I would say I sympathize, but since it's Dallas I don't.

Sympathy is for chumps in the NFL. I can take it. I just hope the Giants destroy the Eagles and the Skins because to are 2 teams I do despise in the NFC. I got a few teams I can back the rest of the season but I will still watch the BOYS. (sigh) At least if they continue this dismal downpour of playing, they can grab a good draft pick or 2 next year but they will screw that up too.

Damn. It looks like some of you have more faith in my team than I do.

Dude.. the Detroit Lions are not bad and they are in every game they play. They have yet to be blown out this year and it makes ya think they can get past a few people. Their record should be better but they either got screwed by a call or missed an oppurtunity.

Honestly I think it has more to do with coaching than with anything else. The Lions have always been known for stupid penalties, but it's gotten worse since he got here. This is a team that always finds a way to shoot itself in the foot.

Hmmmm ... stop talking about my Dallas Cowboys like that Jimbo. Oh wait... you mean the Lions are the twins of the Cowboys with a dismal coach and stupid penalties??? I haven't seen the Lions play this year so I wouldn't know.

Yeah, pretty much every time the Lions make a big play they follow it with either a fifteen yard penalty or a turnover. It's depressing.
