| Interesting story on Yahoo news just now. Apparently the guys that work for Jerry Jones who are supposed to reup contracts for things like the Cowboys website domain do their jobs as well as the rest of that organization. They forgot to renew the domain contract and the Dallas Cowboys website went down today.
If only a Giants or Eagles or Redskins fan would have known this they could have purchased the domain name out from under Jerry and the 'Boys.
Now that would have been funny.
I would have ransomed it to him. "Jerry give the Gmen your 2011 1st and 2nd round draft picks and rehire Wade Phillips and you can have it back."
First I would have monkeyed around with the site a bit.
"Jerry Jones sells team to Al Davis and Cowboys will move to LA!" "Tony Romo traded to the Washington Redskins for a 5th Rd Draft Pick!" "Jerry Jones hired Bill Cowher as new head choach and changes team name to Steelers Part Deux." "Cowboys to leave NFL and join the Lingerie Football League!"
I love this! | |

| Jerry Jones names self as Head Coach and starting QB
In a stunning announcement coming right on the heels of the firing of Wade Phillips, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has named himself Head Coach and starting Quarterback. "If you lousy f**kers can't get the job done, I'll just do it myself." Jones said in a press conference in Dallas at 4:00 pm today.
Jones declined to answer media questions and promptly turned the press conference over to his Offensive Coordinator Jason Garrett. When asked how Jones would figure in the offensive scheme of the Cowboys, Payton replied. "I have no f**kin idea. I'm gonna go coach little league."
Fans seemed pleased with the announcement. "I think it's a good thing," said lifelong Cowboys fan Keith George. "The Cowboys play the Giants this weekend and I can't wait to see Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck ground his moldy old balls into the turf."
Around the league the news was met with stunned silence followed by outbursts of laughter. But one man wasn't laughing. "Dammitt I wanna be the oldest QB in the NFL," complained Brett Favre. "Do I have ta text yall pictures of my penis again?"
Time will tell what impact Jones' announcement will have on the Cowboys.

| As official reporter for the NFL from Sector 12, I was pleased to find out Jerry would be taking snaps this Sunday afternoon. Starting tomorrow at 9AM, Jerry will suit up as #16 for the Dallas Cowboys. Jon Kitna was very displeased with being put on the bench again, but I could hear some snickering from the 3rd string A&M QB Richardson.
The line is really going to have to step aside this week against the Giants to leave Jones with maximum Un-Protection. Trainers will be on high alert after about the 3rd snap of the game. Even trying to hand the ball off to a running back will be a serious task for Jones.
Fans from all over the world are buying tickets at Super Bowl prices to pack the Giants stadium to see this once in a lifetime event. Thomas S***p (aka BigDaddyBlue73) will be the referee for the game and says there will be no flags on the field whatsoever. It's gonna be 3 hours of hell out there.
So tune in for Jerry vs the Giants. It's gonna be a bell-ringer!!!

| Nah. The Lions are playing on the road, where they've one 1 of the their last 50 games. They're also playing without their starting QB. Congrats on your second win Dallas. | |
