RIP Jani Lane

heard about his passing yesterday and all i have to say is i was kinda suprised.the years haven't been all that kind to him.haven't listen to his music in year but he and his band had some decent hits back in the day.

Loved me some Warrant growing up.I got to meet him back in the day on an 80s hair tour.We talked for about 30 min. backstage at the Oil Palace in Tyler ,Tx.He was very nice and he actually seemed interested in talking music with me.I even had a security guard come up and tell me it was time to go but he told that guy to "Flurk off,cant you see we are talking" I always had respect for his voice and sad to see him go.

Too bad to hear this....love me some old school Warrant, lol.


He certainly had his demons though, and they may very well have caught up with him. BTW, the new Warrant sucks, lol!
