Who do you root against?

For some of us rooting for a team isn't enough, we go that extra mile and find the energy to actively wish ill upon others. While the majority of my effort is expended rooting on my St. Louis teams: Go Cardinals, Rams and Blues! I still manage to find the time to enjoy the struggles of the following sports franchises: The Boston Red Sox (at least New York deserves to be a bunch of arrogant pricks), the Cincinnati Reds (screw you and Pete Rose), the Milwakee Brewers (the Cardinals have kept you from not one but two World Series championships) the Detroit Red Wings (every Blues fan is required to hate them, we actually have a day called 'Punch a Red Wings Fan in the Face Day'), and the New England Patriots (cheating bastards).

How about you guys?

I agree with a lot of what you said, but even though I live close I still know that Wings hate won't get too far.

Yeah, the 'punch one in the face day' is a running joke on a sports talk program here that is never taken seriously. I think it stems from the frustration we feel in never being able to actually beat them on the ice.

What was that movie...the one where the guys went to the pub and then would go to the game..and would always get into some big brawl. One scene they got jumped in an alley..another time they took a van and ran into a big mob of guys looking to kick ththeir asses. I think Ben Affleck was in it?

Hahah...no....it was in england...the main character was a american who's sister married a brit...and the brother was staying with them for a while...he got dragged to the pub then joined in all the fights against his sisters wishes...

Greenstreet Hooligans sounds like the right movie to me. Elijah Woods (Frodo) was in it I believe.
