...was a better movie than I anticipated.

It was, easily stated, history with a twist.

Still plenty of action to keep you watching though.

We got it from RedBox.
Worth the $1.50 for Blu-Ray for sure.

I actually liked this movie. I wasn't sure I would. I let the little woman talk me into it though, and I enjoyed it.

It would have been far more enjoyable if I hadn't known what the story was supposed to be. Yeah I know, another the book was better comment, but come on. They completely changed or eliminated pretty significant plot points that would have made hella interesting movie viewing.

The book is usually better than the film for those with developed imaginations.

In this case, I now want to read the book to see what was left out.

That's probably a good idea. My ex almost bought it for me, but I told her not to. I'm regretting that now.

Get the book, whether you like history, alt-history, vampires, legends, or just an entertaining read this book is a good quick fun story. And it ends in a completely different manner. Stupid movie deja vu ending.

well damn, now I wanna read the book, hell I read Pride Prejudice and Zombies! hahah
