A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 Trailer

Looks good. I think Jackie Earl Haley will make a great Freddy.

It looks good and since I haven't followed the storylines religiously like GI Joe, any script changes or new situations will be welcome!

I reaaaalllllyyy hope this doesn't suck.

well so far its got two things going against it.
Michael Bay is involved.
Freddy looked like Voldamort, Voldamort in a bad sweater.

Im remaining CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC about this one

being a horror fan i'm totally against this remake or reboot.i wish they would have gotten robert englund to do another freddy movie instead of this new guys.on a side note i saw on tmz that he was once considered to play freddy before englund so maybe it won't be too much of a disappointment to the franchise.

I'm optimistic.

I figure at worst I won't like it. Luckily whether I like it or not, my copy of the original movie will still be around. So it doesn't matter. Redo Freddy every year for the next decade, make 'em all suck, & it won't matter to me one bit.

Once I make piece with that, all my possible apprehensions disappear & allow me to judge this one singular movie on its own merits. Do I enjoy movies? Check. Do I find the Freddy Krueger character & NoES movieverse interesting? Check. Am I able to divorce a character from its portrayal (007!)? Check. And would I be willing to check out that guy from Watchmen as Freddy using today's movie-making tech? Hmmm. Check.

And I hope he's damn scary.

This looks pretty sweet. I'm thinking that it might be a little more psychological this time around and I like that. Also, it appears that Freddy is a little more vocal this time as well as easier to understand. This looks like it MIGHT actually be an improvement over the original.

I'm actually liking this one so far.. there's a local collector that plays one of the parents chasing Freddy(pre-freddy), so it'll be cool if I can spot him(he was in The Dark Knight, but I never saw him in it). I've always liked the older movies, so we'll have to wait and see.

All I have to say is Robert Englund is Freddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The other guy was a great in Watchmen...But I`m to used to the O.G Freddy
