Having some peeps over, mostly to down brews, but we're gonna order the PPV. Anyone else checking it out?

I was gonna, but it looks like I'll be stuck doing homework.

But I've got an online class, and my paper is due TONIGHT...

I'll be watching tomorrow. It doesn't start till midnight UK time and I'm at work early. Plus the kids want to watch it.
The only matches I'm bothered about is the Money in the Bank and HBK ve Taker.

Cool deal. I'd probably avoid this thread in a few hours, then, till ya see it.

I am looking forward to Edge/Jerico, Taker/HBK and Vinnie Mac/Hitman.

If Taker loses WWE is officially dead to me

While I'm eternally jealous of HHH for being married to Stephanie, I say Sheamus for the sole reason that HHH isn't going anywhere and he is getting up there in age. Not to mention the title needs a young-ish title holder to actually defend it.

Showmiz retains tag titles over Morrison and RTruth.
First off, I hate R Truth. You know what's up? My middle finger. Get lost, Truth. Nothing special in the opening match. Big show wins with the knock out punch. I like Morrison as a heel better. I hope this is the end of this brutal tag team. Oh, BTW, hey Miz, ever gonna defend the U.S. title again?

Orton defeats Legacy in a triple threat match.
Cody Rhodes, rocking the bright white boots! sigh. Nothing surprising here. Orton beats the jobbers in a match that no one really cared about.

Jack Swagger wins MITB.
Not a typo. WTF? I guess we're gonna see the first guy to cash in MITB and not win the title. Are they really gonna push him? Poor Christian. He deserves better. This was not as good as previous MITB matches, way too many guys running around. And it seemed to end kind of abruptly, with Swagger taking like 5 minutes to unhook the briefcase.

Triple H beat Shemus.
I didn't care for this match at all. It felt liek it belonged on Raw. Oh, yeah, sorry, Raw only has 3 minute matches.

Bret Hart makes Vince tap out.
This was an ugly match, with all of the creepy Hart family surrounding the ring. The Hart Dynasty did most of the work on Vinnie Mac, and eventually he tapped to the sharpshooter. Kinda hard to watch. Neither guy is really in "wrestling shape" and it was obvious. Good to see the Hitman get his win, though.

Jericho retains the World Title over Edge.
Thank God. Good match, Jericho using the belt and the code breaker to end it. This feud is far from over.

Rey Mysterio beats CM Punk.
Pretty good match, but I was hoping Punk would go over to continue the feud. CM punk was wearing tights with his name in the logo style of G.I.Joe, complete with the red white and blue at the end. Very cool.

Bad Divas beat the Good Divas.
Brutal match. Just brutal. Vickie Guerro hit a "frog splash" on Kelly Kelly (nearly killing her) to win. No redeeming quality to this match at all. If you're gonna have this, at least try to make it watchable.

Cena beat Batista to win WWE title.
Whoop de do. Had a pretty good match. Highlight was watching Cena celebrate with fans wearing "we hate Cena" tshirts. Nice. I'd like 2, please.

Taker beats HBK, ending his career.
Very good match. Not quite as good as last year, but still pretty awesome. Best of luck, HBK. We'll see you at Summerslam, lol.

Agreed...why did they even show this match.I would have rather seen the 30 battle royal.

Although I cant stand Swagger.He does have talent and I think he could be a ok champion.But yes I think Christian or even Shelton needs a push.

YES.I enjoyed seeing Bret back out there but the man can hardly walk.He fell twice for no reason.But I do respect him and it was a good angle.The 25 or so chair shots were cool.

Descent match imo....not great because Edge looked very winded about half way through.What do you expect though.

Two words...Kelly Kelly.I think she is the hottest one out there these days.She cant wrestle worth a crap but I dont care.Oh and the "frog splash".....not a good idea.
