THE HUB!!! Will you be watching or able to watch??

OK, I am sure you all know of the HUB, I new channel that took over Disney Discovery (or whatever it was called) and will feature old 80's shows. We know they will be showing old episodes of GI JOE and Transformers. They also have Strawberry Shortcake and other shows for other people. Well, I was browsing the guide of the lineup for that channel and I was shocked beyond belief!!!


THEY ALSO HAVE THE 1960'S BATMAN TV SHOW AND IT WILL BE SHOW IN 30 MINUTE INCREMENTS AND CONTINUE AT THE SAME BAT-TIME AND SAME BAT-CHANNEL THE VERY NEXT DAY LIKE BACK IN THE OLD DAYS!!!

It airs here at 10 pm and I already got the DVR set. The channel it comes on for me is 157. I will not be DVR-ing the Transformers and Joes because I already bought those on dvd.

This channel will also have Transformers PRIME and GI JOE RENEGADES which will be brand new to us. I shall check them out just to see how bad they can ruin something. But Transformers PRIME can;t be all bad since Megatron and Optimus are voice cast by the original voices from the 80's!!! ALL HAIL MEGATRON!!!!

Ive got my dvr set for TF and GI JOE.The rest of the stuff Ill just watch whenever I can.

Yup, I'll be watching. I got a special kids' package for my daughter from AT+T and the Hub is part of it. I should make it home just in time for GI Joe tonight.

Saw the end of the Batman episode with the Riddler last night. Also caught the first 10 minutes of Transformers but I started to fall asleep so I went to bed just as they crashed on Earth. If they're hurting for shows they should get Beast Wars or even Robots in Disguise in their lineup too. I could do without Beast Machines and anything after Armada though. I also watched the first episode of Batman Beyond on Sunday, I think it's funny that they're running that show since DC's affiliated with Mattel.

I DVR'ed Batman and I got the rest on dvd. I better watch those Batman shows in a hurry because I have enough on my DVR that it won't hold much more. I NEED A BIGGER HD ON MY DVR DAMMIT!!

You know what though, even if you have them on DVD, it's still pretty cool to watch them on tv, commercials, bumpers and all. I got all nostalgic when the opening sequence for Transformers started. I wonder if they'll ever play the Transformers and GI Joe movies on the channel. Both animated and live-action ones. Hell, they could even play the Clue movie on there. I always thought that that movie was entertaining.

I agree SS...I have the box set with all the TF G1 seasons on it and I still dvr'd them.Its just nice to be able to see them (like u said) with the commercials and such.

yep I will not be watching. I have the 250 package and it is still above me.

I don't have this channel. Crap how much more can I spend on internet, TV, and phones a month without taking a second job. I could almost make a second house payment.

Honestly, I've no interest. The new Joe cartoon looks terrible to me (hate the animation) and TF Prime...I just don't know. Eventually I might, but i don't even know where this channel is. If I wanna watch old school toons, I have them on DVD.

I was kinda hoping for some new toddler friendly programming. It is supposed to have a new my little pony series, a new strawberry shortcake, and a few others. One can live on Nick Jr. and Disney for only so long.

when I was in Jamaica they had DK with the countdown to the HUB change going on.
I think I saw a few shows on there like Doogie Howser MD and Wonder Years but I didnt see any cartoons.

I read that the og. Joe series will begin to play on there. That will be good, esp. considering how bad the Renegades toon looks

Blay I got a buddy in Mississauga who's been telling me that Transformers and GI Joe are on Teletoon. They've been showing them both on The Hub since Monday night.

I wonder if thats Teletoon, or Teletoon Retro.
If its the retro station thats a pay-digital station.

They started Revenge of Cobra last night on Hub. That was great seeing it on tv again, I must've only seen it two or three times on tv as a kid. I remember it distinctly because they had that badass intro showing all the new characters. It was a refreshing break from the regular season 1 opening, and you never saw it as much.

Yup...I've been recording these and watching them the next day with my daughter. Fun stuff!
