2011 Skystriker is starting to show up at Target.

So I got some information that the Skystriker is starting to trickle into some Targets. Now I ain't saying run out there and burn that gas today. I found out my Target does not have them yet, but it is nice to know that some people are finding them.

Remember to help your fellow Sectorians. I need one for sure and I cancelled my BBTS order in hopes of finding them in the wild. So happy hunting and make sure to bring any news back here if you find anything.

This means that there is a good chance they will have them at Kokomo Toys when I go out there next week.

OK ladies and gents here is the scoop. People are BUYING THEM BY THE CASE! They are at some Targets and they are 34.99 a piece. I am sure they will not be on the shelves so your gonna need a DCPI # when you go in there. The # is 087 06 1686. Find an employee at your Target store and or call the store first and make sure they have some. Then take the number and get your prize. If you follow these simple rules then you will be rewarded like me and my friend!

I may be the only one to think this...but I have no need for a Sky Striker. Same with a FLAGG. I'd have more fun with the upcoming figure waves than a plane. Congrats on the score.

I was really happy when I called the Target and they said they had 6 of them. But come to find out they only had 3 in the back. They have yet to make a plce on the shelves but that is because Target has a reset coming at the end of this month.

Another fact about the Skystriker:

The final product is actually Gray with Black Tailfins. There is no white anywhere except for the decals. It comes in a much smaller box than the original and you will be shocked when you see it. You have to put the wings and fins on it and it takes like 5 minutes to put it together. You might want to put the decals on before you assemble it for easier access. More pics coming later tonight of the finished product compared to the originals.

I would almost say 3 Generations of the Skystriker but I would be wrong.

The White one is the 1983 version.
The Light Grey one in the middle is the late 90's Funskool version with repro labels.
The Dark Greyer one is the 2011 30th Anny Skystriker.

My friend opened his 2011 and put the decals on and assembled his. Needless to say I am not impressed with some stickers. Since when did American Flag colors on the wings become Red, Grey, and Blue? I may order some repro labels just because of that hiccup.

I am kinda running out of time for mroe info but if anyone can think of any questions about the old vs the new.. feel free to ask. I will gladly tell you what you need to know.

we do but mine has toy scalpers that raid it on a daily basis and this is no joke one of the workers holds stuff for em and i rarley ever see any cool stuff at target as of late one of my walmarts has been good at scoring stuff

Scalpers are here too...my WM finally got in wave 4 and it was sitting on a palette. One box was already opened and had the Cobra Vipers and Rock Vipers as well as one loose one (I assume Low-Light). After grabbing the ones I wanted and walking away...I saw two employees staring at me through my head, probably for beating them to it. Now flippin' no wonder I can never get anything there!!!

I don't know how many collectors I have in this area but I know they wiped out 4 cases of Wave 5 in less than 24 hours! I am glad I already got my share before they decimated the pegs. Now all we have is damn revision cases!

I haven't opened the Cobra Vipers yet, as they are hot property right now and only way I'd sell them is at $15 a pop. I do have one of the Rock Vipers loose, but complete with the exception of the knife. I can use a couple of heads (have to figure which ones yet) and a set of IG armor...maybe even some Destro briefcases/cash.

I really like the black tail fins.

Another thing about the new Skystriker... the parts are alot more BENDABLE. So if you decide to put it together and leave it in the heat... your gonna get some warped fins. So tread lighty when storing your plane. They are not near as stiff and hard to break like to older planes. Just another thing I noticed that I didn't like about it.
