I like the Guy who played Ronan, but really? Him playing conan? I will reserve judgement until I see pics, but that sound about as effective as that 70's kid playing eddie Brock.

without going on a long winded rant, this is utterly STUPID!...

almost every new piece of info out of Hollywood is gawd awful...it makes me NOT want to see remakes or live action versions of certain things as i'm like 90% sure they'll f*#@ em up...

theres been rumors of a live action of Voltron going around forever, but when every hollywood attempt is a absolute fail, i'd rather they not bother at all...just like i wish they would'a never made G.I.JOE...

Voltron is a go actually.

The guy who penned the script is also in talks or signed on to do the He-Man movie.

Ive read a few interviews with the dude and he's basically like us. A huge fan that just wants to see it done right. Now what they do from script to actual shooting who knows.. but I am praying Voltron turns out good.
There is also talks of a Robo Tech movie as well

Yeah, there is a LOT of talk about a Robotech movie on the Robotech.com website. Rumor has it that they're working on the third draft of the movie and that it is being supported by Toby Maguire. There is also talk of another animated Robotech flick called Shadow Rising. Here's hoping that we see them soon because I am a HUGE fan.

I forgot all about Robotech for the longest time.
I had a ton of the toys but couldnt remember what they were from.
Then one day I was on ebay and I saw a sellers list and found a few figs and I was elated! Found out it was on DVD and I bought the huge boxset!
Now Im trying to acquire the original Macross series which was the first part of Robotech. Its the japanese version with an english dub. so its uncut and way cooler!!
I need 5 more discs for it

That WOULD be sweet. I've never seen any of the original stuff but I watch my Protoculture Collection whenever I can get rid of the wife and kid long enough to sneak in an episode.

I can see Rose McGowen since she's set for Red Sonia but what part is Ron Perlman playing? I love him in Sons of Anarchy, would he be Conan's father?
